Açaí Smoothie Bowls, Go Wasabi Poke Bowls & More!
August 27, 2018
Beginning in the Fall 2018 semester, the Marist community will be able to enjoy delicious Sambazon Açaí smoothie bowls, Go Wasabi sushi and poke bowls and an Oodles noodle bar at the North End.
What is an Açaí smoothie bowl?
It’s a blended powerful organic berry poured into a bowl topped with granola and your favorite fruit toppings. The flavor of açaí is an exotic berry meets a hint of cocao plus supercharged whole food nutrition. Açaí is naturally sugar-free and loaded with antioxidants and omegas. Sambazon is the first AND only certified organic & fair trade Açaí. Açaí Smoothie Bowls will be offered at North End Dining.
What’s new with Go Wasabi?
The roll-out of Go Wasabi brings a fresh selection of sushi and tasty new poke bowls. The Marist community can still enjoy favorites such as a shrimp tempura roll and a veggie California roll while having the ability to try new items such as a vegan Korean BBQ tofu poke bowl. Go Wasabi will be available at all retail locations.
What is the Oodles noodle bar?
For the first time, students will be able to customize noodle bowls at North End Dining. They can tailor their noodle bowl by choosing from an assortment of proteins, broths, noodles, vegetables and toppings. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
Will these new offerings be eligible under Pick 3?
The Oodles noodle bar, as well as a selection of Go Wasabi sushi and poke bowls, will be eligible for the Pick 3 program. The Pick 3 Meal Swap program allows students, faculty and staff to exchange a dining plan meal swipe for a menu item in the Pick 3 program at designated campus retail locations. The program is available for students enrolled in the 120, 90, 60, 30 or 15 meal dining plan as well as Faculty and Staff enrolled in the 15 or 30 meal dining plan.
The Sambazon Açaí smoothie bowls are not eligible for Pick 3.
